We want to encourage our Ling users to share their creative side with the Ling community and spread their love for Thailand’s beautiful language and stunning culture.

This TikTok Video Contest for people who learn Thai with Ling App aims to promote the Thai language and learning. Anyone in the world is invited to submit a video on TikTok specifying from which country in the world you are learning Thai and how much you enjoy learning with Ling App. The contest is open to both amateur and professional artists alike. Our only requirement? That your video is fun and shows your passion for the Thai language! 

The grand prize? A trip to Chiang Mai, Thailand, including two nights at a hotel and a lifelong subscription to Ling App! 

After the competition closes on December 12, 2022, the winners will be announced via our social media accounts.

How To Participate In The Contest?

To be eligible, all participants should strictly follow the guidelines: 

1. Follow Ling’s official TikTok account: @ling_app and like the campaign’s promo video on Ling’s TikTok account.

2. Make a funny and super creative video featuring Ling. Tell us from which country you are learning Thai and how much you enjoy using Ling.

3. Post your video on TikTok

4. Use the three contest hashtags:

• #LingApp
• #LearnThaiWithLing
• #LingTravelThailand

5. Remember to tag us! Tag @ling_app on TikTok

6. Tag 2 friends on your TikTok post.  

By following these steps, all contestants will be participating with the chance to win our fabulous prizes. 

What Are The Prizes? 

The prizes consist of two types, Grand and Runner-up, as follows: 

1. Grand Prize

• How many winners: 1 winner
• Prize details: 
  • 1 Flight ticket to Thailand from anywhere in 2023 
    • Round Trip Flight voucher worth up to $2000
  • 2-night stay at a hotel in Chiang Mai, Thailand 
  • A tour of our company’s office (optional) 
  • A Lifelong version of Ling App! 
• Note: If the winner decides not to travel to Thailand, the prize will be $800 cash  + a Lifelong version of the Ling App.

2. Runner-Up

• How many winners: 10 winners
• Prize details: 
  • Ling App lifelong version for free!
    • The total value of Ling App’s lifelong version is 1500 USD for 10 winners.  

How Are The Winners Chosen And Judging Criteria

• We will collect all the candidates with the contest’s hashtags. Please insert all the right hashtags in your video description. 
• All qualified videos will be sent to our influencer panel. 
• Our Ling influencer panel will select the winners based on creativity within seven days.
• Anyone can be the lucky winner if your video is funny, engaging, and super creative.
• After the influencer panel determines the winners, we will notify everyone via Ling’s social media accounts. So stay tuned!! 

Terms And Conditions

1. Ling reserves the right to cancel or amend the contest and terms and conditions without notice in case of a catastrophe, civil or military disturbance, anticipated breach of any applicable law and regulation, or any event outside of Ling’s control.
2. Ling reserves the right to cancel, suspend, and/or modify the contest, or part of it, in case of fraud, technical failures, or any other factor beyond Ling’s reasonable control that impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the contest.
3. Any changes to the contest will be notified to entrants as soon as possible.
4. Participants agree to give Ling the right to repost and remake the content on Ling’s social media platforms, such as Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.
5. The Grand prize lucky winner is worthy of choosing between traveling to Chiang Mai, Thailand, or receiving $800. Further decisions and details about the prize will be clarified with the winner internally after closing the contest. 
6. If the winner decides to travel to Thailand, their commitment will be to create a new video about learning Thai with Ling during their trip and upload it to TikTok.
7. The issuing costs of the tourist visa to Thailand must be covered by the winner. 

Contest Time Range

• The campaign lasts for three weeks, starting from 21/11/2022 until 12/12/2022. (Timezone: GTM +7).
  • Anyone can join the contest through TikTok during the specified time range.
